Juanita Marie (Hopper) Hyatt

Mrs. Juanita Marie Hopper Hyatt, age 81, of Morehead, passed away Friday evening, December 16, 2022, after a brief illness.

Juanita was born on October 19, 1941, in Muncie, Indiana, to Lawrence W. and Belle Hopper. 

Juanita had an entrepreneurial spirit and held many jobs over the years. She had her name on many churches but she now has her name on the Lamb’s Book of Life. She had a long-standing relationship with God and was very blessed with her faith. When you think of Juanita, celebrate the good memories you have of her.

Juanita will be forever remembered for her smile, gentle eyes, caring heart and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 17 years, George A.  Hyatt; her sister, Loretta Fosnaugh (Edwin) of Yorktown, Indiana; two nieces, Kimberly McCormick (Brad) and Heather Fosnaugh Hart (Brian); two grandnieces; and two grandnephews; ten stepchildren and numerous step grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. 

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jack Hinton, Bro. Charlie Hamm, and Bro. Scott Cummins officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
