Jimmie Lee Farmer, age 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Hospice Care Center in Cincinnati.
Born April 27, 1938, in Beattyville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Everett Farmer and Bonnie Dunnigan Farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Calloway Farmer and Pryse Farmer.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Margie Lykins Farmer; one son, Timothy Lee Farmer and wife Mary of Lockport, Illinois; one grandson, Daniel Patrick Lee Farmer, as well as other extended family and friends.
He was a United States Army veteran and retired from Keebler Company in Cincinnati. Jimmie attended Crossroad Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, bowling, and working in his yard. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
