Jeremy Dale Vise, age 46, of Smith Pike, Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at UK–St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead following an unexpected cardiac arrest.
Born March 31, 1979, in Nicholas County, he is the son of Johnny Vise and Paula Workman Arthurs.
Jeremy is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Jennifer “Jenny” Reeder Vise, whom he married August 14, 1999; three loving children, Rebekah Jenkins (Cameron) of Flemingsburg, Jared Vise (Crecie) of Morehead, and Benjamin Vise at home; and one cherished grandson, Enoch Jenkins.
Also surviving are his father, Johnny Vise (Beverly) of Hillsboro; his mother, Paula Workman Arthurs of Brooksville; one brother, C. J. Vise (Darrian) of Hillsboro; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Johnny Russell Vise and Eula Florence Debord Vise and maternal grandparents, Everett Workman and Mildred Linville Workman.
Jeremy was a lifelong farmer and a devoted son, husband, dad, papaw, and brother. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting, and he loved fishing and boating. His happy place was anywhere he could drop a line—whether in a quiet pond or at Cave Run Lake.
Jeremy will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky 41049. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 5 p.m. with Pastor Greg Grimes officiating.
