Jenny Marlene Baker North, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister went home on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Born February 10, 1951, in Ludlow, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel Allen Baker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bert Chaney, Barry Baker, and Richard Baker; one sister, Camilla Rosenburg; and two granddaughters, Jennie and Chelsea Hatter. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul North, Jr. on November 9, 2005.
She leaves behind two daughters, Paula (Wiley) Hensley of Salt Lick, and Shawn Sawyer of Princeton, Kentucky; one son, Jefferey North of Salt Lick; six grandchildren, Alyssa (Joe) Eastwood, Jake (Chelsea) Hatter, Gillian Davis, Zachary Sawyer, Matt Hildebrant, and Bryan Beal; eight great grandchildren, Lexie, Asher, Jax, Peyton, Hazel, Kayden, Zendaya, and Xenana; and four step great grandchildren, Joey, Hannah, Rebekah, and Noah.
Other survivors include three sisters, Belinda Hensley of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, Cheryl (David) Anderson of Erlanger, Kentucky, and Betty (Howard) Whaley of El Cajon, California; one brother, Bill (Kim) Baker of Franklin, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Jenny retired from Marriott Hotel in Erlanger, Kentucky, and loved spending time with her great grandchildren, collecting dolls, playing on her computer, and playing cards. She loved Eeyore and Olaf.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at Jones Cemetery, in Midland. Family will serve as pallbearers.
