Jenny Perry Moore, age 63, of Triplett Creek Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020, after a short battle with glioblastoma; she was surrounded by her loved ones.
Born January 10, 1957, in Mt. Sterling, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Emma “Irene” Pierce Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Perry Moore.
She is survived by one daughter, Amber Nichole “Nikki” Grose (Noah) of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Travis Moore (Brittany) of Morehead, Ky; one brother, Wendell Perry (Linda) of Lexington; two grandsons, Emory and Elliott Grose; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends.
Jenny worked as a receptionist for over 30 years, 24 of them for Dr. Weigel where she was a staple in the office and always had a welcoming smile. She was a devout Christian and a member of Bluebank First Church of God, where she treasured her youth group. She enjoyed playing volleyball, attending Christian concerts and listening to K-Love.
She devoted her life to her family, whom she was so proud of and loved dearly. Jenny's grandsons lovingly referred to her as their "Nane". She absolutely adored them. Her face would light up every time they came into the room. She always made time for them and especially enjoyed when they would come to visit. She enjoyed taking them to church, teaching them about God and taking them on adventures. She also loved watching them play sports and enjoyed cheering them on.
Jenny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
