Jeanetta Sue “Netti Sue” Riley Barker, age 59, of Highway 174 in Olive Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 6, 2026, at UK–St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
She was born December 4, 1966, in Sandy Hook, a daughter of Oscar Riley and Patricia “Pat” Thompson Riley of Morehead.
In addition to her parents, Jeanetta is survived by three sons, Hayden Barker of Louisville, Samuel Barker of Olive Hill, and Austin Barker of Greenup, and one daughter, Kalie Barker of Sandy Hook.
She is also survived by three brothers, John Riley (Belinda) of Morehead, Tommy Riley (Elesha) of Columbia, Kentucky, and Joe Riley of Morehead; five sisters, Emma Wallace (Junior) of Morehead, Lori Melton (Rick) of DeSoto, Missouri, Becki Alfrey (Bobby) of Morehead, Frankie Cobb (James) of Flemingsburg, and Sharron Riley of Morehead; special caregivers, Beth Ruley and Sarah Coffee; along with a host of nieces and nephews, many cousins, and other extended family and friends.
Jeanetta was employed with Ruley Services for 20 years, serving as a supervisor. She was a faithful member of Mills Branch Apostolic Church for more than 41 years and loved witnessing for the Lord wherever she went. She especially enjoyed attending church and singing, as well as cooking, baking, and spending time at Preston Trade Days and yard sales. Jeanetta loved to talk and truly never met a stranger. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Mills Branch Apostolic Church, 376 Mills Branch Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Pastor Austin Collins and Elder Joe Ruley officiating. Burial to follow in Olive Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers: Cody Wallace, Tim Wallace, Weslee Andrews, Luis Ortiz, Tim Collins, Kevin Andrews, Ed Sturtevant, and Robert Collins.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, Kentucky 40351, and after 10 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2026, at the church.
