Jason Brian Justice

Jason Brian Justice, age 45, of Morehead, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington after a sudden illness.

He was born March 22, 1978, in Morehead, and is the son of Johnnie Justice and Loretta Williams Justice of Clearfield.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Nate Justice of Morehead; two daughters, Lana Justice of Morehead and Molly Justice of Russell; one sister, Melissa Cooper and husband Tony of Clearfield; maternal grandmother, Polly Williams of Flemingsburg; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and other extended family and friends.

He was currently an instructor at the MSU Adult Learning Center and the former Postmaster at the MSU Post Office. He was a 1996 graduate of Fleming County High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University.  

Jason enjoyed watching football, especially the Bengals, reading comic books, spending time with family, and loved going to his mother's to eat her delicious cooking. Most of all, he loved his children and sharing special time with each of them like running with his daughter Lana and helping her prepare for cross country, playing video games with Nate, and taking walks with Molly.

His genuine sense of caring and love was shown by how he treated others. Jason will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Hale Williams; paternal grandparents, Joe and Lucille Justice; and a cousin, Eric Williams.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Jack Hinton officiating.  Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Stacy Rice, Josh Rice, Aaron Withrow, Jeffrey Earlywine, Shawn Daulton, Matt Justice, and B J Cunningham.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
