James Landon “Jim” Justice, age 49, of Old Midland Trail, Salt Lick, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020, at his residence after an extended battle with cancer.
Born May 28, 1971, in Pikeville, he was the son of Wanda Jo Hopkins Justice of Salt Lick and the late James “Red” Justice.
In addition to his mother, Jim is survived by his wife, Andrea Marie Justice, whom he married October 7, 2016; two daughters, Allie Justice of Mt. Sterling and Hannah Justice of Salt Lick; one son, Luke Justice of Salt Lick; mother-in-law, Tammy Booth and husband Doug of Mt. Sterling; and many friends.
Jim was an employee at Family Dollar Distribution Center as human resources manager. He was an avid Boston Celtic fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. Jim will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with family and friends officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery in Midland.
Pallbearers: Damon Sexton, Joe Maynard, Nathan Elkins, Brian Elkins, Jason Snead, Chad Riley, Rusty Henry, and Charlie Minix.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
COVID-19 restrictions as set forth by the state will be observed.
