James Larry Cundiff

James Larry Cundiff, age 77, of Crix Ridge Spur, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at his home in Morehead.

Born March 16, 1945, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Arnold Cundiff and Mary Ellen Bowman Cundiff.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Anita Kay Cundiff Davis, and two brothers, Carl Cundiff and Vernon Ray Cundiff.  

Larry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Clydia Sue Workman Cundiff, whom he married June 5, 1965; two special grandsons, Jonathan Taylor Davis and James Michael Daivs, both of Morehead; and a son-in-law, Mark Davis of Olive Hill.

Other survivors include one brother, Curt Cundiff (Janie), of Morehead; three sisters, Carol Graham of Clearfield and Norma Jean Logan (Leroy) and Teresa Lynn Caudill (Henry, Jr.), all of Morehead; a sister-in-law, Sadie Cundiff of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry retired from the City of Morehead Parks Department in 2003 and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and talking with friends.

At Larry’s request, a private family visitation will be held and no funeral service will be conducted.
