Hazel (Beair) Hall

Hazel Beair Hall, age 95, of Big Perry Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. 

Born August 24, 1927, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Ambrose Beair and Gertrude Alice King Beair.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Gene Russell Hall; one brother, Elwood Beair; and four sisters, Thelma Kegley, Maxine Fultz, Alma Cline, and Marcella Bennington.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gene Raymond (Jack) Hall on February 19, 2012.

Hazel is survived by four children and their spouses, William Michael Hall, Sr., and Barb of Olive Hill, Keith Raymond Hall of Morehead, Donna Hall Dryden and Mark of Winchester, and Dwight Stephen Hall and Vanita of Morehead; nine grandchildren, William Michael Hall, Jr., of Texas, Jeannette Powers of Delray Beach, Florida, Trishel Potts of Mansfield, Ohio, Tiffany Potts of Salt Lick, Kyle Andrew Hall, Jessica Howard and husband Zack, Jason McClurg and wife Juanita, Anita Wells and husband Jeff, Diana Beamon and husband Jerry all of Morehead, and many great grandchildren.  Other survivors include nieces and nephews; cousins; other loved ones; and numerous friends.   

Hazel was a homemaker and former Avon sales representative winning several sales awards. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, quilting, and especially selling crafts at Preston and Mt. Sterling Court Days. Hazel had a strong love of family, God, and friends.  She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. 

A memorial service celebrating Hazel’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dustyn Doyle and Rev. Carlos Bowman officiating.   Private interment will take place in the Hall Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
