Harper Reign Reed

Born September 11, 2022, Harper Reign Reed, beloved infant daughter of James and Cassandra Becraft Reed was simply too good for this world. We were able to have a short amount of time with our sweet angel. Harper was pure perfection, weighing 6 pounds 2.1 ounces with bright blue eyes and red hair. She gained her wings on September 12, 2022, she left us here on earth but will forever be with us in our hearts.

An angel wrote in the book of life my baby’s date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book, “too beautiful for earth”.

In addition to her parents, survivors include two brothers, James Reed, Jr. and Lucas James Reed, both at home; maternal grandparents, Barry and Brigitte Becraft of Mt. Sterling; maternal great grandfather, Garland Hall of Jeffersonville; three aunts, Madison Becraft, Tanja Horn, and Lauren Allen, an uncle, Sascha Horn; a great aunt, Marguaret Otis; and cousins, Mila Horn, Eric, Sissy, and Kylie Ashcraft, and John and Nicole Iverson; and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Virginia Gail Reed, and maternal great grandmother, Melissa Hall.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, at Spring Street Baptist Church, 442 Spring Street, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.

Graveside services will immediately follow at Machpelah Cemetery with Pastor Larry Robinson officiating.  Harper’s father will serve as pallbearer.  

Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
