Obituary
Harmon J. Carter, age 89, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
Born August 9, 1933, in Bourbon County, he was a son of the late Clifford Carter and Hester Cassity Carter.
Harmon is survived by his wife, Ruby Perry Carter; two daughters, Cathy Sainato of Lexington and Carol Townsend and husband Chris of Versailles; one step-son, Robert A. Moore and wife Diana of Paintsville; one step-daughter, Sonya Brown and husband Jason of Morehead; one brother, Harold Carter of Winchester; and 10 grandchildren.
He was a retired salesman and a member of the Owingsville Church of Christ. Harmon enjoyed carpentry, gardening, flowers, and bird watching. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
A visitation of remembrance will be on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a service to follow with Minister Alton Norman officiating at the Owingsville Church of Christ, 5410 East Highway 60, Owingsville, Kentucky 40360.
