Geneva Donathan Strange, age 85, of KY Highway 213, Jeffersonville, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling.
Born April 10, 1936, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Eveleen Stull Donathan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Donathan, Jr. and Ewell Donathan, and one sister, Hazel Virginia Donathan.
She was also preceded in death by her husband 64 years, Roy Strange, whom she married July 23, 1955, and two sons, Gary Strange and Roy Strange, Jr.
Geneva is survived by one son, Gerald (Joyce) Strange of Jeffersonville; two daughters, Pam (Alfred) Martin of Jeffersonville, and Patricia (Paul) White of Means; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; one daughter-in-law, Pam Strange of Clay City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and member of Spruce First Church of God. Geneva enjoyed caring for her family and will be greatly missed.
Graveside service and burial will be held at Martin & Willoughby Cemetery in Jeffersonville at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, with David Campbell officiating.
