Garvin L. Parks, age 61, of Rocky Branch Road, Jeffersonville, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at his residence.
He was born November 12, 1958, in Greenup County, a son of the late Narvel Parks, Jr., and Betty May Misner Parks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Steven Parks and Jimmy Parks.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Gentle Parks; two daughters, Michelle Davis and Melanie (Matt) Munday; two sons, John (Heather) Parks and Jeremiah Parks, all of Jeffersonville; seven grandchildren, Courtnee Archer, Ashley Davis, Allison Munday, Jacob Munday, Caiden Parks, Presley Parks, and Isiah Parks; and four great grandchildren, Issac Russel, Lyon Archer, Braelyn Kenley, and Carter Kenley.
Other survivors include three brothers, Jerry Parks of Jeffersonville, Curtis Parks of Mt. Sterling, and Sammy Parks of Vanceburg; and six sisters, Linda Manning, Mary Davis, Wanda McGuire, Ada Jones, and Vicky Rister, all of Jeffersonville, and Shirley Roe of Mt. Sterling.
Garvin was a former construction worker and was a member of New Cut Road Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020, at New Cut Road Free Pentecostal Holiness Church with Sammy Parks, Chad Curran, Josh Henderson, and Jim Rister officiating. Burial will follow in the Lovely - Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at New Cut Road Free Pentecostal Holiness Church, New Cut Road, Jeffersonville, KY
