Frances (McKee) Plank

Frances McKee Plank, age 80, of Big Perry Road, Morehead, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born November 18, 1938, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Virginia Shields McKee.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Plank, and two brothers, Winford McKee and Gary McKee.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Larry Whitt of Morehead; two granddaughters, Amy Blevins and husband Darren and Emily Clarke and husband Gary, all of Morehead; seven great grandchildren, Tyler, Arlie, Brooke, Tucker, and Toby Blevins, and Chelsea Spangler and husband Ryan and Paige Clarke; a special nephew, Randy McKee; and a special niece, Carla Coleman.

Frances retired from Morehead State University Alumni Tower Cafeteria and was a former employee at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.  She was a member of Rock Fork Christian Church and loved attending church and church-related activities.  She also enjoyed reading, sewing, watching the Cincinnati Reds, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She was the most loving and giving person who will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Butch Kelsey and Bro.  Jared DeAtley officiating.  Burial will follow in Hogge Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Darren Blevins, Tyler Blevins, Tucker Blevins, Toby Blevins, Arlie Blevins, Brooke Blevins, Randy McKee, and Gary Clarke.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
