Fidencio “Bo” Bravo III, age 60, of Freestone Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at UK – St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born April 16, 1964, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and is the son of Dolores Calderon McLaughlin of Garrison, Iowa, and the late Fidencio Bravo, Jr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two uncles, Joe and Danny Calderon and one cousin, Joseph Calderon.
Besides his mother, Bo is survived by his wife, Leslie Wallace Bravo; one son, Tyler William Bravo of Georgetown; one stepson, Andrew Thomas Bravo of Honolulu, Hawaii; and one grandson, Elijah Lane Bravo.
Other survivors include two brothers, Edward Brock of Garrison, Iowa, and Gerald McLaughlin of New Orleans, Louisiana; four sisters, Cynthia Renee McLaughlin, of Fort Worth, Texas, Linda Waterman of Garrison, Iowa, Ana Bravo of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Sylvia Bravo of San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
He served in the U.S. Marines for six years and was of the Catholic faith. Bo was former car salesman for Rod Hatfield Chevrolet in Lexington and Toyota in Georgetown.
Bo loved spending time with family, caring for his cats and dogs, singing, dancing, and watching NFL football. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys and George Strait fan. Now he can forever play Dominos with uncle Joe, uncle Danny, and cousin Joseph. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at 4 p.m. with Father Ronald Sagum officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Morehead American Legion Post 126 at the funeral home.
