Douglas "Doug" Robinson Obituary

Douglas “Doug” Robinson, age 58, of Ringos Mill Road, Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, at his residence.

 

Born July 24, 1961, in Mt. Sterling, he was a son of the late Eddie and Peggy Hurst Robinson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mitchell Scott Robinson, and one sister, Cheryl Robinson Donohue.

 

Doug is survived by one daughter, Candice Robinson Hatton of Mt. Sterling; one stepdaughter, Matika Vanmeter of Frankfort; one brother, Glen Robinson of Hillsboro; two sisters, Beverly Sanders of Morehead, and Malinda Andrews of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Laura Hatton and Everett Hatton, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Doug was a self-employed HVAC technician and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time at the lake.  He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

 

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Hutton Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Engle officiating.  

 

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
