Ethel Bradley “Dolly” Fugate Forman, age 86, of Kentucky Highway 519, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at her residence after an extended illness.
Born July 29, 1937, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Ottis Fugate and Zelda Blankenship Fugate Barber. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Gladof Forman, who passed away May 6, 2016; a granddaughter, Brandy Forman; and a stepson, Barry Douglas Forman.
Dolly is survived by one son, Douglas Garlan “Dougie” Forman of West Liberty; one grandson, Shawn Forman of Morehead; one sister, Oleta Butcher of Dayton, Ohio; and other extended family and friends.
She was a homemaker and a former special needs aide for the Rowan County Board of Education. Dolly was a Kentucky Colonel, a faithful member of the Democratic Party who had received recognition for her participation, and a former election officer. She enjoyed gardening, mowing her yard, taking care of her flowers, and spending time with family and friends.
Funerals services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
