David Wesley Egelston, Sr., age 70, of Big Perry Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021, at U. K. HealthCare in Lexington.
Born August 11, 1950, in Frenchburg, he is the son of Jeanetta Campbell Egelston of Frenchburg and the late Hobert Egelston.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, David Wesley Egelston, Jr. and wife Michell of Hillsboro; one daughter, Katherun Goodman of Ewing; two brothers, Johnny Egelston and Bobby Dean Egelston, both of Franklin, Ohio; two sisters, Janet Miller of Frenchburg and Judy Kay Cochran of Greer, South Carolina; two grandchildren, James David Beatty of Wallingford and Kaitlin Goodman of Ewing; and several nieces and nephews.
David was a retired livestock technician for Morehead State University Farm and enjoyed working, taking care of his animals, and spending time with his family.
A private memorial service will be held at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel in Morehead. Burial will follow at McCausey Ridge Cemetery in Menifee County.
