Connie Sue (Lambert) Staton

Connie Sue Lambert Staton, age 65, of Morgan Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at UK–St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born February 3, 1960, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late James Oliver Lambert and Elnora Fay Mynhier Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: infant Michael Ray Lambert in 1954, James Mitchell Lambert in 2007, Anthony Lambert in 2012, and Larry Neil Lambert in 2015; and one sister: Brenda Chadwick in 2018.

Connie is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Janessa Staton of Morehead; two cherished granddaughters, Gracie and Abagail; two sisters, Patricia Lewis of Morehead and Kimberly Lynn Lambert and her companion John Hamm of Morehead; along with several nieces, nephews, other dear family members, and many friends.

She was a 1978 graduate of Rowan County High School and retired from St. Claire Regional Medical Center after 38 years of dedicated service. Connie was a member of Charity Freewill Baptist Church, where she loved singing in the choir and participating in church activities.

A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Connie especially enjoyed family vacations and spending time with those she loved most. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered always.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Derek Lewis, Gary Burchfield, Patrick Muncy, David Weaver, Jeremy Howard, and Brock Cox.

Visitation for Connie Sue Lambert Staton will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
