Cody Justice Elliott

Cody Justice Elliott, 27, of Johnson School Road, Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born February 17, 1994, in Maysville, he is the son of Rebecca Ross Taylor and husband Brent of Covington and John Sanders Elliott and wife Debbie of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stidam Elliott of Flemingsburg; one daughter, Sky Elliott at home; maternal grandmother, Geneva Ross of Hillsboro; five brothers, Dylan Ross of Hillsboro, Robert Ross, Jacob Ross, and Caleb Taylor, all of Covington and Steven Elliott of Mt. Sterling; one step brother, Casey Browning of Mt. Sterling; one step sister, Ceira Browning of Mt. Sterling; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cody was a self-employed mechanic and attended Fleming County High School. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Ross, and paternal grandparents, Roger and Lola Elliott.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021, at Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Richard Engle officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Ross, Steven Elliott, Casey Browning, Nicholas Shelley, Eric Reffitt, and Billy Crawford.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.

COVID-19 mandates will be observed.
