Clifton Edward “Tub” Baldridge, 87, of Whispering Pines, Clearfield, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
Born April 7, 1934, in Clearfield, he was the son of the late Eddie and Zallia Mynhier Baldridge. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Ethan Clay Baldridge.
Tub is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shirley Ann Burns Baldridge; one son, Ed Baldridge and wife Nikki Merritt of Richmond, Virginia; one daughter, Rebecca Baldridge Mynhier of Clearfield; four grandchildren, William Kenneth Wheeler and wife Heather, Nicholas Warren Baldridge and wife Molly, Catherine Grace Baldridge, and Danny Joe Mynhier, Jr.; and four great grandchildren, Allyson Page Wheeler, Lucas Grant Wheeler, Ava Baldridge, and Sophia Baldridge.
He was an employee of AMF in Shelby, Ohio, for many years and enjoyed antiquing, fishing, and being in nature. Tub loved nothing more than sitting on the porch telling the history of the Baldridge Family of Morgan Fork. Tub never met a stranger and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held 12 noon Friday, November 26, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Halstead officiating. Burial will follow in Baldridge Cemetery on Morgan Fork. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until noon Friday, November 26, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
