Cinda "Cindy" A. (Wooten) Price

Cinda A. “Cindy” Wooten Price, 82, of Rice Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.  

Born February 8, 1940, at Blue Diamond, in Hazard, she was a daughter of the late Paul O. and Gertrude Cassity Wooten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Price; a son, Paul Wayne Price; five brothers, Paul Ray, Ted, Ronald, Carl and Johnny Wooten; and an infant sister.

Cindy is survived by a daughter, Christine James of Dry Ridge; a granddaughter, Alishia Young (Joseph) of Georgetown; three great grandchild, Keyonna Young, Malakhi Young, and Cheraduan Wolford; two sisters, Donna Sams and Brenda Gay Partin, both of Norwood, Ohio; a special aunt, Sharon Wooten Blevins of Morehead; her canine companion, Benji; and other extended family and friends.

She was a homemaker and a former employee at Queen City Paper Company in Cincinnati. Cindy was a member of Mt. Pisgah Christian Church and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Cindy enjoyed going to church, camping, swimming, shopping, gardening, and listening to southern gospel music. She loved “breaking bread” with family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Christian Church with Pastor Jack Hinton officiating.   

Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be members of the church.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Mt. Pisgah Christian Church, 7855 Bull Fork Road, Morehead, KY 40351.
