Charles Daniel "Charlie" Kinder

Charles Daniel “Charlie” Kinder, age 40, of Johnson Road, Morehead, lost his battle with drug addiction on Monday, November 2, 2020.

Born May 2, 1980, in Morehead, he is the son of LaVonne Lemberg Kinder of Morehead and the late Leo Daniel Kinder.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Scottie Kinder.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Chase Lenden Kinder and Cheyenne Elaine Kinder, both at home; two sisters, Carol Estep (Joe) and Lisa Plank (Keith), both of Morehead; paternal grandmother, Ruby Kinder of Frankfort, Ohio; mother of his children, Cassandra Hall; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and a host of cousins and friends.

He loved the outdoors and was self-employed in construction. Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his children. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Greg Hignite officiating.  Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery on Stacy Road.

Pallbearers will be Austin Plank, Hunter Plank, Dale Plank, David Webb, Donnie Hall, and Larry Skaggs.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

COVID-19 regulations will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all contributions be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, P.O. Box 388, Morehead, KY 40351 to assist with funeral expenses.
