Casey Wade McGuire, age 31, of KY Highway 519, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at his residence.
He was born March 16, 1989, in Morehead and is the son of Lisa Stamper McGuire of Morehead and the late James Clarence (Jim Bo) McGuire, who passed away January 20, 2007. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James William McGuire.
In addition to his mother, Casey is survived by two sons, Kevin Perry and Kasen McGuire, both of Bath County; one daughter, Bella McGuire of Bath County; two sisters, Jessica McGuire of Salt Lick and Tessa McGuire of Morehead; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Ruth Ann Cline Stamper of Salt Lick; paternal grandmother, Joyce Mayse McGuire of Farmers; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Also surviving are special acquaintances: Casey’s girlfriend, Brittney Curtis and her children, Madison, Brooklyn, Colton, and Caleb; Bella’s mother, Priscilla Black; Kevin and Kasen’s mother, Sarah-Grace Kissinger; biological father, Claude Duncan; and half-siblings, Daniel Duncan and Brandy Bond.
Casey graduated from Rowan County Senior High School in 2008 and was an employee of KDMK in Mt. Sterling. He enjoyed video games and spending time with his children.
Due to the COVID-19 regulations set forth by the Governor, a private visitation for immediate family will be held Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. A private graveside service will follow in Brown Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Carter officiating.
