Carol Sue (Carson) Robinson

Carol Sue Carson Robinson, age 64, of Kinder Branch, Morehead, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at her residence.

Born July 22, 1956, in Braxton County, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Alton Carson and Jessie Mae Cosner Carson.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Carson, and a sister, Mary Heater.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Charles Robinson, whom she married June 14, 1975; two sons, Larry (Lisa) Robinson II and Adam (Courtney) Robinson; two daughters, Jessica Robinson and Sara Beth Robinson, all of Morehead; and seven grandchildren, Austin Robinson, Brady Robinson, Carson Robinson, Carley Althouse, Caroline Robinson, Jacob Robinson, and Charlie Robinson.

Other survivors include five brothers, Ray (Ruby) Carson and Ralph (Ruth) Carson, all of Burnsville, West Virginia, John Sherman (Kate) Carson of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Glen (Linda) Carson of Tioga, West Virginia, and Carl (Anne) Carson of Little Birch, West Virginia; three sisters, Viola Mae Johnson and Freeda Perrine, both of Burnsville, West Virginia, and Joyce (David) Moore of Cheshire, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family members.

Carol was a dedicated housewife, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, canning, camping, following her children in sports, attending church, and especially spending time with grandchildren. Her competitiveness and intensity never waned throughout her life. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Willie Sturgill and Pastor Larry Robinson II officiating and special music by Sam L. Smith.  Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery on Porter Creek. Those who wish to participate virtually may join live streaming of the service at 11 a.m. on Northcutt & Son Facebook page.   

Pallbearers:  Austin Robinson, Brady Robinson, Carson Robinson, Lee Dupuy, Dallas Dalton, and Ronnie Smith.

Visitation will be from 5 p. m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons International.
