Bobby Glen Raikes, Jr., 48, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Morehead and Fleming County, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Born on August 16, 1973, in Morehead, he was a son of the late Bobby Glen Raikes, Sr. and Shirley Rice Raikes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stuart Glen Raikes; a granddaughter, Piper Grace Raikes, paternal grandparents, Rev. J. C. Raikes and Virginia Moore Raikes; and maternal grandparents, Kenneth C. Rice and Thelma Newman Rice.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Stacy Raikes; his three sons, Zach Raikes of Morehead, Cameron Raikes and Jordan Raikes, both of Flemingsburg; a granddaughter, Winter Raikes of Morehead; two stepsons, Zach Hargis and Riley Hargis, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; other extended family and friends.

Bobby graduated from Rowan County Senior High School and attended Vincennes University, where he received his electrician certificate. Bobby worked for Conagra Foods in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was a former employee of Custom Foods in Owingsville and Walmart in Morehead. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Morehead.

He loved to fish, hunt, listen to music, go to the beach and spend time with his family. He was a die-hard Kentucky Wildcat, San Francisco 49ers, and Cincinnati Reds fan. Bobby was a very hard worker, who took pride in everything he did. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5 p.m.  Friday, February 11, 2022, at Trinity Christian Fellowship, 5037 W Main St, Morehead, Kentucky, 40351.

There will be a visitation of remembrance with family and friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Trinity Christian Fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kentucky Wildlife Fishing/Hunting, Trinity Christian Fellowship, or an organization of your choice.
