Blake Aaron Caldwell, age 30, of Lapeer, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in Lapeer, Michigan, due to a tragic accident.
Born October 14, 1992, in Munster, Indiana, Blake is the son of Ynez Vibanco, Jr of Hamlet, Indiana, and the late Victoria Lynn Doyle Kresich.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Elijah Caldwell of Lapeer, Michigan, and Nicholas Caldwell of Hobart, Indiana; five brothers, Troy Caldwell of Fleming County, Richard Caldwell of Clinton Township, Michigan, Alexander Kresich of East Chicago, Indiana, Arthur Vibanco and Anthony Vibanco, both of Indiana; three sisters, Amanda Vibanco of Hobart, Indiana, Alesha Vibanco of Greenville, Kentucky, and Kristie Trevino of Crown Point, Indiana; maternal grandmother and step grandfather, Shirley Drake Cioe and Piero of Wallingford.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by two infant siblings, Samantha Caldwell and Lucas Piero Vibanco; maternal grandfather, Hobert Garr Doyle; and an uncle, Hobert Doyle, Jr.
He was currently working at an automobile factory in Michigan and was a former employee of Reno’s in Morehead. Blake enjoyed shooting paintball, playing video games, cooking, and especially loved spending time with his boys.
A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Ronnie Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Doyle Cemetery in Wallingford.
Pallbearers will be Troy Caldwell, Richard Caldwell, Alexander Kresich, Robbie Drake, Greg Crumb, and Anthony Vibanco.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
