Benjimen Lee “Ben” Wilder, age 41, of Holly Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020, at his home.
Born June 6, 1978, in Montgomery County, he is the son of Randall James Wilder, who passed away May 29, 2014, and Subbie Davis Wilder of Owingsville.
In addition to his mother, Ben is also survived by his wife, Angie Jones Wilder; one son, Hunter Lee Wilder; and three daughters, Heidi Lynn Wilder, Haley Mae Wilder, and Journi Paige Wilder, all of Morehead; three sisters, Autumn Shavonn Wilder Hays (Daniel) of Mt. Sterling, April Spring Wilder Trent (Michael) of Morehead, LaRanda Mae Wilder Montjoy (Johnny) of Owingsville; and paternal grandmother, Essie Mae Henderson Wilder of Owingsville.
Besides his father, Randall James Wilder, Ben was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clyde and Avie Shortridge Davis, and paternal grandparents, Frank and Leona Parks Henderson.
Ben was a member of Carpenters Local Union 1650 for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and his family. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, May 25, 2020, at New Cut Road Pentecostal Church with Chad Curran and Josh Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Josh Henderson, Hunter Wilder, Johnny Montjoy, Tad Henderson, David Henderson, and Matt Myers. Honorary pallbearers: Daniel Hays, Mike Trent, Bill Henderson, Dillon Henderson, and Kavin Shannon.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020, at New Cut Road Pentecostal Church in Jeffersonville.
COVID-19 regulations will be observed.
