Becky Lee Sheppard

Becky Lee Sheppard, age 52, of Morehead, went to her heavenly home, Monday, November 30, 2020, at her residence.

She was born December 20, 1967, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late George and Virginia Shephard also of Massachusetts.

She had an associate degree in Medical Transcription though at the time of her passing, she was a stay at home Mom. She enjoyed reading and crafting projects and was a faithful member of Christway Assembly of God in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.

Becky is survived by her children, Rachel McCarthy (Chris) of Morehead and Daniel Sheppard of Flemingsburg, and her husband, Robert Sheppard of New Jersey. Other survivors include two brothers, Lawrence Shephard and Ron Shephard (Doreen), all of Morehead; a sister, Nancy Shephard of Morehead; along with other extended family members.

She was always willing to lend a helping hand to all that needed it and was devoted to helping her children with the challenges of living life with disabilities. She and her sister Nancy were very close and spent a lot of time together. She also enjoyed good conversation and music while sitting around a campfire or a holiday table. Becky will be missed, but her family knows that they will meet up again someday.

There are no visiting hours, but a small private graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Morehead, Kentucky.

COVID-19 mandates as set forth by the Governor will be observed.
