Barbara (Crase) Allen
March 5, 1943 ~ November 13, 2023 (age 80) 80 Years Old
Barbara Crase Allen, age 80, of Mt. Sterling, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on March 5, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a daughter of the late Seldon and Elizabeth Walters Crase. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Barker and Oleda Sallie, and five brothers, Elvin, Kendall, Randall, Glenn, and Rocky Crase; and her husband, Don Allen on August 30, 2009.
She is survived by two sons, Tony and Diane Oney of Sharpsburg and David and Towonna Oney of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Linda Oney of Frankfort; two grandchildren, Zachary Oney and Brittney Oney; two step grandchildren, Alicia Meadows and Eric Lawill; five great grandchildren, Jase Oney, Corey and Lacie Lawill, and Zack and Gracie Meadows; and special family, Jennifer and Xander Wease.
Other survivors include one sister, Betty Dunn of Morgan County, nieces and nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Barbara was a homemaker and member of the United Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching Westerns, card games, and visiting with friends in the community and her family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Ed Nickell officiating. Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery in Morgan County.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Oney, Eric Lawill, Corey Lawill, Shane Crase, Scottie “Hot Rod” Sallie, Doug Sallie, and Zack Meadows.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
