Anthony Lee “Tony” Stamper, age 57, of Cherry Lane, Salt Lick, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at his residence.
He was born September 10, 1963, in Mansfield, Ohio, a son of Bobby Allen and Ruth Ann Cline Stamper of Salt Lick.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Holly Ison (Josh) of Morehead and Leighann Stamper of Olive Hill; one son, Jacob McGlone; one grandson, Jase Ison; his partner, Sharon Suttles; one sister, Lisa Dawn McGuire of Morehead; two brothers, Rick A. Stamper (Vickie) of Hagerstown, Maryland, and John W. Stamper (Donna) of Soldier, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Landon Stamper; one grandson, Mason Ison; and one brother, Bobby Allen Stamper, Jr.
Tony was a “wildcat” whose family teasingly called him “a tough old bird.” He enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to Rock music, and visiting with friends and family. He loved his children and was very proud of their accomplishments. He will be missed and remembered with love.
A Celebration of Remembrance will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Cave Run Lake Spillway.
