Anthony Allen Logan, age 63, of Burton Branch, Morehead, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 1, 1962, in Rowan County, Allen was the son of Ruth Edington Logan and the late James Minor Logan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Edna Lee Logan, and a niece, Ashley Thompson.
Allen is survived by his mother, Ruth Logan; his son, Wilden Logan; and his companion, Wilma Ball, all of Morehead.
Additional survivors include four sisters, Becky Ferguson (Steve) of Richmond, Marsha Bradley (Terrell), Debbie Wade, and Lisa Switzer (Steve), all of Morehead; one half-sister, Ruby Barnes (Charlie) of Indiana; two brothers, Darrel Logan (Rhonda) of Morehead and Roger Dailey (Cindy) of Olive Hill; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as other extended family members and friends.
Allen was a concrete finisher and heavy equipment operator for Pack’s in Morehead. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, mushroom and ginseng hunting and trapping. Most of all, he treasured time spent with his family.
Allen had a giving heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, with Brother Rick Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Masters Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Darrel Logan, D.J. Logan, Cliff Logan, Kevin Logan, Steve Thompson, and Neal Jenkins.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, Kentucky 40351.
