Anna Lee Boyd Lewis, age 60, of Clearfield, lovingly known as “Bud,” passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her residence.
Born September 24, 1962, in Rowan County, she is the daughter of Betty Jean Stidam Lumpkins (Roy) of Campton and the late James Buford “J.B.” Boyd. One sister, Sherry Lynn Boyd Terry, preceded her in death.
In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is survived by one son, Jamie R. Hale (Tabitha) of Clearfield; one daughter, Jessica Bartlett (Tony Staggs) of Olive Hill, and five grandchildren: Nathan Hale, Hannah Hale, Sarah Hale, Christopher Blanton, and Raelynn Staggs.
Others to cherish her memory include one sister, Mary Ann Stevens, of Clearfield, with whom she had a special bond; one brother, John Wayne Clark (Debbie) of Soldier; one step sister, Crystal Preston of Winchester; one stepbrother, Brandon Lumpkins of Lancaster; six nephews, Shane Stevens, Zach Jones, Austin Terry, Michael Clark, Zeb Clark, and Matthew Clark; four very special friends, Vicky Hamilton, Pam Easton, Rhonda Perry, and April Barker as well as many extended family members and friends.
Anna was a former Menifee County Fiscal Court employee who held various positions under Judge Executive Hershell Sexton. She enjoyed people and loved collecting “rummage,” camping and fishing, and going to Poppy Mountain every year. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in the time of need. She loved the Lord and adored her family, especially her grandchildren, and her 14-year-old K-9, Sissy. Anna will forever be remembered and greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
