Ann Gillum Fraley departed her earthly life to join her Savior on March 8, 2021. Ann was born September 6, 1940 at Burke, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Albert and May Gillum.
Ann’s Christian Faith was at the core of her life. Ann was a member of the Laurel Gorge Enterprise Baptist Church in Sandy Hook. She spent her entire educational career teaching first grade before retiring from Elliott County Schools.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Fraley, and daughter, Lesia Fraley Sturgill. Siblings preceding her in death were Wilma Jean Ison, Alma Faye Fraley, and Johnnie Gillum. She is survived by her daughter Pam Fannin and husband Tim and grandsons Ryan and Matthew. Surviving siblings are Franklin Gillum, Maude Rossi, Ronnie Gillum, and Sandy Sanders.
A Drive-By Celebration of Life will be held at the Laurel Gorge Enterprise Baptist Church on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Graveside services will be conducted immediately following the Drive-By Celebration of Life at the Fraley Family Cemetery, officiated by Toby Roe. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Laurel Gorge Church is suggested.
Pall bearers are: Tim Fannin, Ryan Fannin, Matthew Fannin, Frankie Sturgill, James Perry, and James Allen Stegall.
