Andrea Frances (Tackett) Ferguson

Andrea Frances Tackett Ferguson, age 80, Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

She was born September 9, 1944, in Lexington, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Harvey Tackett and Vertner Wallen Tackett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leroy Ferguson on May 2, 2020; one daughter, Susan Thompson; and one son, Gary Leroy Ferguson.

Andrea is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Burrey of Kiel, Wisconsin, and Stephanie Triplett (Elijah, Jr.) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one sister, Linda Sue Neal of Dallas, Georgia; a special daughter-in-law, Amy Ferguson of Morehead; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and playing computer games. Andrea was of the Christian faith and loved attending church when her health allowed. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.  A memorial service will be held immediately following at 12 p.m. with Senior Pastor Joe Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
