Obituary
Allie Faye Pennington James Burton, age 98, from Columbus, Ohio, formerly from Morehead, Kentucky, passed away on August 5, 2023.
She was born January 3, 1925 in Elliott County, Kentucky, to Jason Braxton and Mary Jane Forrest Pennington who preceded her in death, as well as 7 sisters, 4 brothers, husbands, William Curtis James and Frank Burton, son-in-law, Jim Dotson, grandson James Christopher Dotson.
She is survived by son, Clyde Ival James, Morehead Kentucky, daughter, Marilyn Sue James Dotson, Grove City Ohio, grandsons, Jason Chad Dotson, Galloway Ohio, Jonathan Curtis Dotson (Jennifer) and great-grandsons, Callen Everett and Nathan Elliott Dotson, Powell Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.
She was a loving, caring and kind lady who was always smiling. She dearly loved her family and friends.
Visitation will be August 9, 2023, from 1pm-3pm at Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 4242 Hoover Road Grove City, Ohio 43123. A brief service will immediately follow.
Interment will be Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 11am at Brown Cemetery, Morehead, Kentucky, with a brief graveside service.
