Zella 'Poo' Sloan Dehart, age 85, of Kegley Ridge, Morehead, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born July 24, 1930, at Laurel in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Trent Sloan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Curt and Vercil Sloan; two sisters, Melly Koffman and Melmie Dillon; and one great grandson, Kaden Wade Dehart. Poo is survived by her husband of 63 years, Cleo Dehart; one son, Lee 'Leo' Dehart and his wife Rhonda; three grandchildren, Jack, Jesse, and Tiffany Dehart; and four great grandchildren, Andrew, Hannah, Rayleigh, and Jesco Dehart. She also leaves behind extended family and many friends. Mrs. Dehart was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She attended Kegley Ridge Church. Poo will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Ray Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Trent Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jack Dehart, Robert Puckett, Dennis Trent, Kevin Dillon, Danny Dillon, David Sloan, Dean Sloan, Mickey Sloan.
