Zack Alexander Sanders, age 64, of Center Street, Morehead, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at his residence.

Born February 12, 1956, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Zack Sanders and Geraldine Roach Sanders.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Jean Colvin and Nancy Carolyn Sanders; one brother, Gary Wayne Sanders; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Zack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marsha Morris Sanders; one son, Adam Lee Sanders and wife Brandy of Morehead; two sisters, Gale Hall of Morehead and Diane Tuggle of Nicholasville; three grandchildren, Whitney Starnes, Chad Starnes, and Olivia Lewis; several nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Jim Sanders.

He was a graduate of Morehead State University and a former employee of D & S Community Services in Morehead and VISTA in Menifee County.

The family would like to give special thanks to Mary Caric for going above the call of duty in her medical care.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Rhodes officiating.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
