Zachary Taylor Plank, age 28, of Buckner Branch, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born June 28, 1989, in Morehead, he is the son of David Plank and wife Kim and Clarissa Crumley and fiancé Leroy Barrs, all of Morehead. In addition to his parents, Zachary is survived by his wife, Ann Plank, whom he wed February 14, 2008, two sons, Zane Plank and Bentley Plank, and one daughter, Macy-Dawn Plank, all at home; one brother, Trace Fannin of Morehead; and one sister, Lisa-Marie McCleese of Morehead. Other survivors include paternal grandmother, Debbie White; maternal grandmother, Ruby Plank; paternal grandfather, David Plank; maternal grandfather, Donnie Gene Dailey; paternal great grandmother, Pauline White; paternal great grandmother, Katie Plank; special aunt, Donna Golden; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmothers, Ruby Epperhart and Rosie Dailey Porter; maternal great grandfather, Chester Epperhart and paternal great grandfather, Robert Plank. Zach graduated from Rowan County Senior High School in 2007 and was an employee of Morehead Wood Products in Morehead. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams-Plank Cemetery. Pallbearers: Trace Fannin, Austin Whittaker, Ed Golden, Leroy Barrs, David Plank, and Jason Dillon.
