Obituary

Woodrow Lincoln Dean, age 96, of Cranston Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born March 11, 1917, in Chester, Ohio, and was the son of the late Harless and Norma Eiselstein Dean. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marabel O'Conner Dean, on December 25, 2005, and one son, Roger Earl Dean, on January 28, 2004. He is survived by one son, Roy Eugene Dean of Huntington, West Virginia; one brother, Bob Dean of Dublin, Ohio; one sister Betty Chevalier of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Dean was a former employee of Island Creek Coal Company in West Virginia, Ohio, and Western Kentucky. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Salt Lick, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted 11a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jason Minix officiating. Graveside services at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Chester Cemetery in Chester, Ohio. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky. Visitation: Tuesday, April 2, 2013, from 10 a.m. until Funeral time Funeral: Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Interment: Chester Cemetery, Chester, Ohio
