Winona Deloris 'Dee' Adkins Easterling, age 62, of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born March 15, 1952, in Wilsondale, West Virginia, she is a daughter of Edith Adkins of Morehead and the late Paul Workman. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Michelle Easterling; a brother, Arthur V. Adkins; a sister, Lynda Gregory; and step-father, James Hale. Besides her mother, Dee is survived by two sons, Stanley Allen (Connie) Easterling and Kevin Joseph (Suzanne) Easterling, all of Morehead; a daughter, Melissa Dawn (Doug) Wallace of Olive Hill; 12 grandchildren, Arvis, Brandon and Travis Curtis, Keireston, Stanley, and Suzanne Wallace, Rodney, Tanner, Jimmy, and Abby Easterling, and Jessica Oliver; and 7 great grandchildren, Emily and Cailee Curtis, and Dakota, Charlie, and Rayleigh Oliver. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Louise Sargent, Mary (Jerry) Mullen, Candy Marcum, Charles Hale, James (Rhonda) Hale, and Dave Hale, all of Morehead, and Margaret (KC) Roff of Alta Loma, California; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Dee was a former nurse's aide at the Life Care Center and St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, playing on her computer, and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Gary Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery in Blairs Mill, KY. Pallbearers: Tanner Easterling, Rodney Easterling, Arvis Curtis, Brandon Curtis, Charlie Lily, Ronnie Caudill, Jordan Thompson, and Stanley Wallace. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, September 5, 2014, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 3 p.m. Interment: Blair Cemetery
