Winnie Mae Nichols Donahue, age 67, of Donahue Drive, Clearfield, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. She was born February 13, 1944, in Panama City, Florida, and was the daughter of the late Clyde C. Nichols, Sr., and Gladys Whisenhunt Nichols of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Nichols, Carlton Nichols, and Donnie Nichols, Sr. Mrs. Donahue is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ira Donahue; one daughter, Patricia Fox (Tim Massey) of Morehead; two sons, Danny Fox (Donna) of Mt. Sterling, and Joseph Fox (Hannah) of Lexington; six grandchildren, Greg Fox (Ashley) of Blaine, Tennessee, Danielle Fox of Mt. Sterling, Michael Ratulowski of Morehead, Whitney Wagner (Wayne) of Georgetown, Tanner Boyd of Morehead, and Samantha Massey of Morehead; three great grandchildren, Braydon Fox, Brody Fox, and Bentley Wagner; and a special daughter, Donita Jones of Morehead. Also surviving are two brothers, Clyde C. Nichols, Jr. and Jerry Nichols, both of Florida; two step sons, Dennis Donahue (Linda) of Lincoln Park, Michigan, and Jerry Donahue of Huntington, Indiana; two step daughters, Linda Way of Michigan and Teresa Donahue of Huntington, Indiana; two step grandchildren; and many special adopted children. Winnie came to Morehead in 1983 and spent the majority of her life working in the health care field as a CMA. Before her illness she enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was a lifelong member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tanner Boyd, Michael Ratulowski, Greg Fox, Timothy Massey, Bruce Nichols, Jason, Martin, Donnie Nichols, and Terry King.
