Windell Allen Blevins, age 59, of Open Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at his residence. He was born March 5, 1957, in Morehead, a son of the late James Albert Blevins, Sr. and Martha Sparks Blevins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Albert Jr., Larry R. Blevins and Ronald Edwin Blevins. Mr. Blevins is survived by his wife, Rita Fultz Blevins; two sons, Jackie Allen Blevins of Mt. Sterling and Harold James Blevins and wife Lori of Olive Hill; one daughter, Quindeline Marie Conkel of Largo, Florida; four step sons, Nicklous Brown and wife Jolene, Wesley Brown and wife Melissa, Joshua Brown, and Marcus Brown and wife Tiffany, all of Morehead; two sisters, Barbara J. and husband James Adkins of Morehead and Rebecca L. Cooley and husband Don McCoy of Mt. Sterling; 16 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Windell was an employee at Pro Mart in Mt. Sterling for 12 years. He loved fishing, spending time with family and friends, and playing with his grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2016, at the Oakley Cemetery on Open Fork Road with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Pallbearers: Rick Webb, John Wilson, John Corey, Lowell Keaton, Brooks Conley, Stanley Messer, David Fultz and Tony Fultz.
