Wilma Jean Collins Wright, age 86, of London, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owingsville. Born July 6, 1931, in Letcher County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Collins and Bertha Hammonds Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wright, on March 26, 2010, and her son, Jeffery Wright in 1977. Mrs. Wright is survived by three sons: Roy Wright and wife Jill of Morehead, Danny Wright of Denver, Colorado, and Randall Wright of Corbin; one brother, Curt Collins of London; three sisters, Edrey Back of London, Audrey Collins of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Sue Maggard of London; two grandchildren; and 1 step grandchild. Mrs. Wright was a former office worker at Whitesburg ARH Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018, at the McDaniel Cemetery, Maple Grove Road, London, KY Pallbearers: Josh Day, Reese Slone, Roy Wright, Randall Wright, Steve Back, and Jared Reyes.
