Wilma Allene White, age 87, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010, at the Jo-Lin Health Care Center in Ironton, Ohio. She was born December 27, 1922, in Rowan County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Allie and Bethel Lee Knipp White. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Stacy Stanifer; one daughter, Sylvia Katherine Pioggia; and three brothers, William White, Lloyd White, Bill White and his wife Louise. Survivors include one grandson, Brent Estell of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Burl White of Paradise, California, husband of the late Wanda White; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Leatrice White Stafford and husband Tom of Ashland, Kentucky, and Judy Hensley of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; two cousins, Esther Lowe of Logan, West Virginia, and Katherine Thomas of Clarksville, Indiana; and a special family, Becky, Clyde and Lexie Hammonds of Ashland, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ed Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Andy White Cemetery, Fouch Road, Morehead, Kentucky.
