Obituary

Wilma Jean Mullins Coleman Whitt, age 76, of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Elliott County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sandy Hook. She was born January 4, 1938, in Hemphill, Kentucky, a daughter of Mella Johnson Mullins of Warren, Michigan, and the late Morgan Mullins. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Dishman and Ella Louise Vandergriff, and three brothers, Glen Allen Mullins, James Morgan Mullins, and Tommy Lee Mullins. Her husband, Bob James Coleman, passed away December 30, 1997. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Whitt is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Wagoner and husband Bob of Sandy Hook; one son, David Wayne Coleman, Sr. and wife Eileen, of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren, David Wayne Coleman, Jr. and fianc-e Paige, Robert Allie Riddle and fianc-e Brandy, Kyle James Coleman, and Derek Patrick Coleman; and three great grandchildren, Allison Rebecca Riddle, Lillie Grace Coleman, and Brailey Trosper. Other survivors include one sister, Teresa Lynn Mullins, and two brothers, Ernest Raymond Mullins and Gary Wayne Mullins, all of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Mrs. Whitt was a former nursing assistant at the Life Care Center in Morehead and homemaker. She enjoyed reading her Bible, bird watching, word search puzzles, and shopping. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in Ingram Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Riddle, Bob Wagoner, Timothy Rice, Dalen Winkleman, and David Coleman. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Saturday, November 8, 2014, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Sunday, November 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. Interment: Ingram Cemetery
