Wilma Jean Cassity Williams, age 72, of Flemingsburg Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg. Born August 16, 1940, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Maude Wooten Cassity. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Cassity. Two sons also preceded their mother in death, Douglas Martin Williams on November 9, 2012, and Christopher Lee Williams Sr. on August 3, 2012. Mrs. Williams is survived by one daughter, Branita Michelle Lewis and husband George of Hillsboro, Kentucky; three sons, Kenneth Ray Williams, David Lewis Williams, Jr., and Jerry Dwayne Williams, all of Morehead, Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, Bill Cassity of Muncie, Indiana, and Ralph Cassity of Tollesboro, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, extended family; and friends. Wilma Jean was a homemaker who dearly loved her family. She enjoyed drawing, going to church, and spending time with family and friends. She greatly appreciated the caring staff at Pioneer Trace. A devoted Christian, she attended the Church of God. Wilma Jean will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Cassity Cemetery. Pallbearers: Christopher, Steven, Nathan, Chase, Jeremy, Mike, and Kevin Williams. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
