Willie Thomas 'Bill' Anderson, Jr., age 77, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. Born November 9, 1937, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Willie T. and Carrie Caudill Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Delmar Anderson, Jesse Anderson, Dallas Anderson, Earl Anderson, Roy Anderson, and Clester Anderson, and one sister, Nina Anderson Bowman. Bill is survived by his wife, Faye Sparkman Anderson, whom he wed April 5, 1958; one son, Dr. Willie T. Anderson III and his wife Christine of Franklin, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Brendan, and Kenneth. Other survivors include two brothers, Lloyd (Donna) Anderson, and Claude (Donna) Anderson, all of Morehead; one sister, Tina (James R.) Ward of Wilmington, Delaware; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bill served in the U.S. Army and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ben Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery on Rock Fork Road with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.
