William Paul DeHart, age 58, of US 60 East, Morehead, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born September 5, 1955, in Elliott County, he was a son of the late Jesse Lee and Nellie Mae Trent DeHart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harlan DeHart, and one sister, Edna Stevens. William Paul is survived by one son, Michael DeHart of Grayson; one daughter, Jessica DeHart Cox and husband Jimmy of Greenup; five brothers, Ray DeHart, Edward DeHart, Garret DeHart, Wayne DeHart, and Coy DeHart, all of Morehead; one sister, Chelma Hall of Morehead; four grandchildren, Dillion Snyder, Kiara DeHart, Zavier DeHart, and Kaitlyn Burton; and a host of nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing the guitar and collecting knives and guns. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Mabry Cemetery in Elliott County. Pallbearers will be his brothers, Don Hall, Sr., and Cory DeHart.
